Malcom is capable of handling several analysis data sets at a time with highly automated methods. Among other benefits, the application can be used by less skilled personnel and reduces the delays of data processing. Nevertheless, it delivers much more details than competitive software with an unequalled precision of the measures.
The high degree of automation does not yet suppose any concession to flexibility : Malcom’s system for data & information management by project gives the users the possibility to automatically apply to any other data set a process defined on one specific set, to conceive and implement their own methods with a flexible macro language, to customize the following procedures for all the studied compounds: visualization, identification, calibration, quantification and reporting.

Despite the power of the method, GC measurements are not conducive to easily producing quantitative results. Techsia has implemented an automatic protocol that compensates equipment-linked reproducibility defects and takes into account the specificity of the detector responses (Mass Spectrometry, Flame Ionization Detector,…)
Such unique functionality enables the analyst to get the most from the advantages created by GC analysis and assures reliable quantitative analysis every time.
